Marvel Studios bestätigten auf der Comic-Con, im Anschluss an eine Überraschungsvorführung von „Deadpool und Wolverine“, Galactus als Hauptantagonisten im kommenden „Fantastic Four“-Film. Die Ankündigung erfolgte im Rahmen einer atemberaubenden Drohnenshow, die ein Bild von Galactus und dem Logo der „Fantastic Four“ in den Himmel formte.
